These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of this website and the booking and delivery of first aid training courses provided by The Everett Partnership Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By accessing our website or booking a course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Client / You / Your – the individual or organisation booking or attending a training course or using the website
  • Course – any first aid training course or related service provided by us
  • Website – our website and all content made available through it

3. Website Use

3.1 Access and Availability

We aim to ensure the website is available at all times; however, access may be suspended temporarily for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons without notice.

3.2 Permitted Use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
  • Introduce viruses or malicious code
  • Use the website in any way that may cause damage or disruption

3.3 Accuracy of Information

While we make every effort to ensure website content is accurate and up to date, information is provided for general guidance only and may change without notice.


4. Course Bookings

4.1 Booking Process

A booking is considered confirmed once:

  • Full payment has been received (unless otherwise agreed in writing); and
  • Written booking confirmation has been issued by us.

4.2 Participant Requirements

  • Participants must be physically capable of undertaking practical first aid activities, including CPR and floor‑based exercises.
  • Any medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, or additional support needs must be disclosed in advance so reasonable adjustments can be considered.
  • All participants must be over 14 for certification.

4.3 Minimum Numbers

Some courses require a minimum number of attendees. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a course if minimum numbers are not met.

4.4 Travel Distance

All on-site training courses within 40 miles of RG40 are included in the existing fee, courses outside of 40 miles will be confirmed at time of booking


5. Fees and Payment

5.1 Prices

All prices are quoted in GBP (£) and are subject to change. VAT is included where applicable unless otherwise stated.

5.2 Payment Terms

Payment must be made in full prior to course delivery unless alternative written arrangements have been agreed.

5.3 Late Payment

We reserve the right to withhold certification, cancel bookings, or recover reasonable costs where payment terms are breached.


6. Cancellations and Refunds

6.1 Client Cancellations

  • More than 14 days before the course: Full refund or transfer (excluding any non‑recoverable costs)
  • 7–14 days before the course: 50% of the course fee payable
  • Less than 7 days before the course: No refund

Substitute delegates may attend at no additional cost.

6.2 Our Cancellations

We may cancel or reschedule courses due to circumstances beyond our control, including trainer illness, extreme weather, venue issues, or insufficient bookings. Where this occurs, clients will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or
  • Transfer to an alternative course date.

7. Non‑Attendance

Failure to attend a course, or late arrival that prevents full participation, will be treated as a non‑attendance. No refund will be issued in such cases.


8. Course Content and Certification

8.1 Training Standards

All training is delivered in accordance with current awarding body requirements and relevant Health and Safety Executive (HSE) guidance where applicable.

8.2 Assessments and Certification

Certification is subject to:

  • Full attendance
  • Satisfactory completion of practical and/or written assessments

We reserve the right to withhold certificates if course requirements are not met.


9. Health and Safety

Participants are required to follow all instructions given by the trainer. Unsafe, disruptive, or abusive behaviour may result in removal from the course without refund.


10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the total course fee paid

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.


11. Intellectual Property

All website content and course materials remain the intellectual property of The Everett Partnership Ltd and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.


12. Data Protection and Privacy (UK GDPR)

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

12.1 Personal Data We Collect

We may collect and process personal data including (but not limited to): names, contact details, billing information, booking details, attendance records, and awarding‑body information required to deliver and certify training.

We process personal data only where we have a lawful basis to do so, including:

  • Performance of a contract (course booking and delivery)
  • Compliance with legal or awarding‑body obligations
  • Legitimate business interests
  • Consent, where required

12.3 How We Use Personal Data

  • Managing bookings and course delivery
  • Communication regarding courses
  • Certification and awarding‑body registration
  • Legal, regulatory, and insurance purposes
